I am trying to find George Kelsey & wife Caroline (nee Swift ca 1831) on the 1861 census. They married 27.06.1858 and had daughter Caroline in 1859 but I have not been able to locate in 1861. Would appreciate a fresh pair of eyes if anyone can help!

I am trying to go a generation further back - George Kelsey (1834) parents are George Kelsey ca 1810 & Catherine Fleckner (Flecknor) ca 1805. Can anybody locate them on any census? I do have Catherine as being deceased in 1855 so would only be in 1841 & 1851 census.

Vicci, I feel sure that is them as there is George (ca 1834) too! Can you tell me where you searched these as I had tried on here for ages!

Christine, thanks that is George snr! I have his birth as 1810 although 1841 shows it as 1806,but I think they rounded ages on that census??

I presume one of those deaths would be George ca 1810 as I have jr right up to 1901 census. I will have to investigate those further - thanks again for your time & effort.

Solihull, Meriden, Berkswell were all in pretty close proximity so that is almost certainly going to be Catherine.
