Just a quick comment re. Smethwick - I have relatives from here too, and to my surprise Smethwick at the time came under Kings Norton! So it all ties in.

thanks jan i keep finding out lots of strange stuff,thank you this lot looks right anything you can find out on mary 1869,amy1870 would be appreciated
