Colin the 1911 is very confusing. I have looked up the birth of your nan Elizabeth Ellen in mar 1891 and there are no other Banks recorded.

The census has been written in 2 different handwritings.

Do you thinks that John could have done the first bit and put down Eliza Ellen age 20 and then someone else perhaps Harry Murray added his and his wife's name. I do think that Eliza Ellen and Elizabeth Ellen are probably the same person. Someone has also written marr 15 yrs against the Murray couple then crossed it out and in pencil underneath it says 1yr which is the more likely one.

I am not sure also about the 1901 family I have added above as I found another one with a John, a Mary Eliza, Elizabeth E and an Annie

Don't they like to send up on wild goose chases

I think you really need your nan's birth certificate. Apart from proving the maiden name of her mother, if she was a twin I think it was usual to include the time of birth on the certificate, presumably so that it later years it could be proved who was the elder.

I agree with Lancashire Ann you really need some birth certs, your nan's and perhaps one of the younger children Ada or John
