Hi again

I think I've searched pretty much everywhere - much of it based on the advice given her and by PM - but I appear to be stuck at John Zealand, b1773 who married Mary Loncaster (various spellings, b 1759) in 1783. I'm hoping John's birthdate is way out, of course!

I can't find any links between the apparent centres for the Zealand name -south Lincs, Yorks coast and Teesside - even though they must be there, somewhere. Let alone getting back to the original immigrant(s).

Any more ideas, anybody. Please?

Thanks

Paul

Paul. John Zealand was born in 1756.

Hi Henry

Thanks for that clarification. I am recently back from a few days in Lincolnshire. Part of it involved research; all of which produced nothing apart from a few contacts in the area who may have some knowledge of local history.

Still no evidence of a Dutch link.
