	1911 census Address: 37 Auckland S Kennington S E Name Relation Condition/ Yrs married Sex Age Birth Year Occupation Where Born HEARN, Albert Head Married M 32 1879 Labourer Barge Work Lambeth London HEARN, Elizabeth Wife Married 1 years F 23 1888 Lambeth London HEARN, Albert Son M 4 1907 Lambeth London doesn't say months on the original for Albert jnr but it's the same address as the birth cert 1 child born to marriage >>>>>edit it's the same entry Janey found a few moments ago and the signature looks like A E Hearn

	I think we'll have to assume somebody left off the "months"! And that's why it wasn't to be found before, by us ... or akcant ...

	And this is the birth you ordered the certificate for? Births Mar 1911 Hearn Albert [BH] Lambeth 1d 319 No idea why it's been transcribed that way. The image (at Ancestry) is bad, but it appears to be Albert E. Of course, your first post did say he was born in London ..............

	Kensington is also in London so there were RWO Albert Edward's born in the same area at mroe or less tha same time! Surely, the families have to be related? sylvia

	That's what I meant -- I focused on the Kensington one because we were told London. Lambeth isn't technically London, but I guess akcant decided at some point that that was the correct birth.
