1901 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X9JF-DGC [so FS/FMP give Jane's age as 37 NB 1901 resident in (Manchester) Central subdistrict]

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FM1S-1ZS [Flo was d/o William] A search at http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=2962 will get this m.cert Unfortunately, they only go to 1882 (ref C24/1/500) for Salford Sacred Trinity. (Ref C24/1/500 is the last entry in the 1st register for that church, and we need ref C24/2/325 i.e., entry 325 in the 2nd rego - anyways, to go back further, I think you'll need to purchase this m.cert.)

If you found out (from Thos's pension record or maybe his medal card) exactly which battalion Thos served in, then even though you can't find what Thos was doing day by day, you can find that out for his unit via its war diary. The Liverpool Regt had many bn's, each with difft war-time service - see: http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/army/regiments-and-corps/the-british-infantry-regiments-of-1914-1918/kings-liverpool-regiment/
Many local libraries have an Ancestry sub - my municipality does, as do 3 of the 4 neighbouring municipalities, To access war diaries - go to: Ancestry - Card Catalogue keyword = war diaries click on france & belgium (rarely Gallipoli) then unit = king's (Liverpool) Regiment subunit = 2/5th battalion - (or whatever unit)
My library limits computer access to two 1 hr sessions per day. I found I could download 90p per hr (if I didn't read them). Just before I get timed out, I email stuff to myself so I can read them at home. The following two tips are useful. 1) Go to start button - my documents - download (or wherever it puts them) then highlight a block of 20 (or so) pages, then right-click - send to - A compressed (zipped) folder. Put all the images into zipped folders - I limit the size of each zipped folder to 15MB - then I email each folder to myself in a seperate email. (It's a lot easier to send 4-5 attachments than 90) 2) Go to start button - all programs - accessories - then double click on notepad (it's a primitive word processor) I copy and paste notes, Ancestry transcriptions, etc., into this document. The first time, I pick - File - Save As (and name the document as Notes=2016-03-11.txt or whatever). After each subsequent entry, I click on -File - Save. I email this file to myself too.

If the Edward King - Jane Blackmore marriage is correct looks like she died in 1902 then Edward married a Beatrice Sykes in 1907 - they are together on the 1911 census with Edward & Jane's children

Other children of Thomas and Florence
Charles, b. 1919
Thomas b.1921
Lily b.1923
all above born Hulme, registered Chorlton
4 more with same surnames registered Manchester South between 1925 and 1933 could possibly be Thomas and Florence's children
