Could somebody kindly do a look up on the 1841 census please.

I am looking for Thomas Evans ca 1831, with parents Richard and Ann(e). I would expect them to be in Shropshire - Wellington/ Wombridge/Oakengates areas.

Any chance that you can find Richard & Ann together? I know that by 1851 Ann was re-married to a ?? Grainger and Thomas was listed as Stepson, but dont know if Richard died so trying to find a timeframe to look for.

Unfortunately I cannot spot a Richard and Ann Evans together nor can I spot a marriage 1841~1851 between a Thomas Grainger (Per 1851 census) and an Anne Evans.

Thanks for that. I found a James Grainger/Ann Evans in Shrewsbury Sep 1850 too????
Will have to get my sis in law to resend me the 1851 she found so i can see where they are living. Might give more of a clue as to which spouse, if either of course, is correct.

I was also wondering about three marriages.....
but we still need Patern/Patience/Patian in 1841 under any surname

Yes, Patricia, Patern/Patian is proving very elusive in 1841! I can find a marriage in 1855 to a Benjamin Jaundrell and find them on the 1861 and some following census but not the 1841!

I can find a Patience Evans but her parents are Samuel and Jane - baptism on IGI

Potty, could I be so cheeky as to ask you to paste the census info that you have found for Patern/Patience - it would give us something else to work on.
