can find no mention off this man before 1916 when he married rose grossmith dicks,anyone know him he was born about 1890 and died 1958 he was my father but i cant find his birth records .i am angela shrubsall now smith and am trying to grow a family tree ,thankyou if you know please contact me

Going by the age on his death registration, He would have been born c1893.

Again, You need to obtain the mariage cert for definate answers.

I have found Sydney Bert in 1901, So the one Vera has found in 1901 is not that one, So could be a posible for you. I cannot see a birth entry for him.

i do have it ,says he was 25 in 1916 married rose grossmith in bristol but before then nothing his father is called andrew on the marriage certificate
