Don't wait for someone to connect with you......be pro-active.

Look in search trees for all the names you have been given, and if you find any of them , contact the member who 'owns' the tree.

thanks for that i know my father was not aware of this as family have always said she died after my dad i will search more and thank you you all have been very helpfull i hope some one out there may connect with me and hopefully have a pic of her more searching thank you again

I don't use GR for searching ........waste of money to have anything but basic membership.

The bmd info I found was from freebmd.............FREE.

And the 1911 census, to which I subscribe.

And other people found the same bmd info, which you seem to have missed.

sorry i dont wish to afend any one i have never been on this site before i am gratfull for your interest and help
i have been on ancestry and genes but it still lost i can only say what i have been told my father is passed now i have been looking of and on for 5yrs they worked on the land so she will have died in wakefield then james came back to thirsk laura had a brother walter when her mother married he was given walter horner shaw as his name her mother was eliza 1855 i can only assume they were illigitamate

There is no death for a Laura Calvert in 1918/19

my dad was born 1981 his mom laura 1880 died 3mths after her mother was eliza 1855 laura married james calvert they had children frances 1898,edith 1913,walter1908,jack1906, as i am told frances had given birth 6mths previous so to dad on and wet nurse him
i am very gratfull for your help
