Thankyou lynne Elizabeth adds up with the year of birth but like you say i cant find a Henry and this means she would have had him at 19

Herbert Long .Trying to find out info and family of Herbert Long brn 1916 .Somerset i think ,parents William Bowers LONG BRN 1879 and Rose Jukes brn 1880 .Thankyou any one who can help

The marriage certificate would give their ages and marital status as well as their father's names.

I wonder if Rose had been married before?

Rose Jukes was my grandfathers second wife ,Herbert was my fathers step brother ,and yes they lived in salisbury .Wilton road .is where my father lived with my mum sister and me .When my grandfather married he was bought up by william long but his real surname was Bower ,hence Bower Long
