But you said the death certificate states that he's a widower and gives his occupation, that doesn't sound like a female's death certificate. |

On Freebmd - it costs nothing, but it is always worth checking the original image as they sometimes mis-transcribe the reference. In this case they haven't. |

William had already died by then - she was a widow on th 1851 census. His death is probably this one (only one in the 10 year period), I think it's the age that proves the certificate David has is the wrong one. |
