I have found them on the 1871 census but i am having trouble finding them on the 1861 census can you help me how did you find them.

You have found a lot for me i have looked on genes & family search but no joy. The age of Mary on cirt was 21. Henry's occupation was Game Keeper. Richard's father Samuel Steel was a Farmer. Mary & Richard got married in Leeds Register Office May 1879. The surname Steele dosn't seem to have an e on the end of it.

I think this might well be Richard with his father Samuel in 1861 ....... but the information from the certiifcate would help.
