It does look like him in 1841


and I'd just found the 2 baptisms as well ...... all the others shown on familysearch seem to be Submitted records.

I have submitted alternative names ...... and someone else had already submitted Willey instead of Withey, back in 2006

I searched the births and deaths 1866, Mary E M Willey and Matilda E M Willey born April 1866 died soon after., they were shown on the same page for births but consecutive pages for deaths, could be the same child ? So that couldn't be my Matilda. Now off for another search for Matildas born around that time. Thanks Sylvia I have been looking at Esrom and his family. I'll investigate Matilda Willey born 1868 now, maybe she's mine.
