Florence Barnes married Thomas Eli Bonner married Sept 1895 in Abingdon, I know for definate one child
Elsie A M Bonner born 1911 and possibly Leonard,Charles and Sidney.

Yet I cannot find them on any of the census?

A fresh pair of eyes might help

Do you have Elsie's birth cert to confirm her parents' names? There are other possible Bonner/Barnes marriages.

Elsie is my cousin's husbands mother, he gave me the names Florence Barnes and Elijah Bonner, so pretty much sure of those facts but he knows nothing else.

Rootgatherer, how did you do that I have spent 30 credits so far on 1911 site!!!!!!

But Thomas Eli married Mary Elizabeth Barnes not Florence!

Having looked at the 1911 details they seem to tally up with the marriage but I am not sure that I have the right marriage as the children do not tally up with the names I was given but then again maybe they were born after the 1911 census.

Leonard and Sidney look the right ages, I like the look of Elijah but not the date!!!, the brain is going round in circles with this branch of the tree!

Just a minute its possible that this Elijah Bonner is the father of Elsie AM Bonner he would have been 23 when she was born, so only need to tie up marriage to Florence Barnes.

I think you need to get Elsie's birth cert to confirm her parents' names and then look for a marriage.

The Elijah I posted above is the only one coming up in 1901 but I can't find a marriage for him (or a death up unitl 1930). My grandfather was also called Elijah and I have found him mistranscribed as Elizah, a female!

Perhaps somebody with full access can look up who she is with but it isn't and Elijah.
