The best help would be if I could get in touch with Maurice or atleast find out if he is still alive failing this just to find a lead to him though the other family members thanks for all the help I have managed to find a possible nephew who was the son of Terence who sadly died when he was 3 months old and hopefully this could lead to more info.

Marriage Certificate for Maurice and my nan came today.
I am now so confused as he was 21 when he married my nan this would put his birth year to 1935 and his dads name on the certificate is Stanley Walter Baker who was a railway labourer any help is greatly appriciated

O.K. then,

If you are sure you have the correct marriage cert, then the birth cert you have is not the correct one and all the info previously given was regarding 'that' Maurice so can also now be discounted.

We shall have to start again............

Sadly that is what i thought to, which is a real shame as someone had found a exact living match this morning for me matching the old birth certificate :(

I am not seeing an obvious death for Ena but she may have died after 2005. I was hoping to find that as the informant details may have been helpful.

Dea I know he had a sister but when i looked at the birth certificate im reading it as Ross not Rose??
Also if its Ross then i have a address for him that someone has found.

I do know that Eda was widowed when she lived in Cavendish Sudbury and i believe she went on to remarry.

You are right - Ancestry has transcribed it as Rose, and I have to admit, the image was not clear on Free BMD where it is Ross.

However, I have checked on another site with a clear image and it is certainly Ross.
