I am stuck I can't find any records for John Whitehead born circa 1801 in Crompton Oldham other than on the 1841 census.

His mother was Suzannah Whitehead.

I do not know her husbands name.

John Whitehead was Uncle to James Greenwood and son of Susannah Whitehead who are all ancestors of mine.

John Greenwood, James dad married Betty Whitehead, Susannah's daughter.

How many John Whiteheads are there with mothers called Susannah born in Crompton.
