Someone here at GR has a

Queenie Blundell 1905 Chrishall, Essex

in their tree. No such birth, though!

edit -- the same person and someone else have children of the Reeves-Blundell marriage in their tree.

You're in touch with the other person who has

Queenie Barker 1898 Wivenhoe, Essex,Engl...

in their tree?

This is the person who married Wright:

Births Sep 1900
Barker Queenie Pretoria M Orsett 4a 591

Easily ruled out.

I had been looking at that one earlier Eyes need sorting I think lol

Even Orsett to Dorset is a trek but it fits in with the death too

What's needed is the real Queenie May Barker's birth certificate to see whether the exact date of birth matches the Queenie May Reeves death.

I've been chasing after the Blundell one but there's no record of any such person -- and no Blundell-Barker births either.

Ah -- in the PM I just got from you, you said you were in touch with people with Queenie in their trees.

Your Queenie? Can't tell whether you meant you were already in touch with people with your Queenie, and which one she is ...

If you're trying Reeves, who I really think is the likeliest candidate and a perfect match, it seems --

Don't forget to search at FreeBMD for the Reeves/Blundell births, and then search trees here for those names. There are GR members who have them and Queenie Blundell in their trees.

I just noticed there's a Queenie Blundell in the 1911 census

BLUNDELL QUEENIE 1904 7 South Stoneham Hampshire
BLUNDELL ARTHUR 1880 31
BLUNDELL SARAH 1883 28
BLUNDELL EMMA 1908 3
BLUNDELL ARTHUR 1910
BLUNDELL LIZZIE 1911 0

but still not in the births.

There's no Arthur Blundell + Sarah marriage ... oh, rats.

Marriages Mar 1907
BLUNDELL Arthur Alverstoke 2b 894
- there's a bride missing.

That Queenie must have been born before the marriage and took the surname Blundell after.

The missing bride:

CUNNINGHAM Sarah Alverstoke 2b 824 - mistranscribed

The birth:

Births Mar 1904
Cunningham Queenie May Alverstoke 2b 558

I hate to say it, but I've just ruled out Queenie May Blundell/Reeves.

Sorry!!!
