havent seen here on any previous census - does it give relationship to head??

I can only think Alma must be daughter Amelia who appears in 1871 census age 4. Age is a bit wrong.

on 1901 census there are 4 unmarried daughters plus granddaughter Melinda.

I've been trying to find birth regs for the children, but it would seem the family didn't bother. No baptisms that I can see either.
