Can anyone help please, I have my husbands grandfather Thomas Ongley born in1884, his father g grandfather Thomas Ongley born in 1846 in Tonbridge wells, but I can't find his father, both of these men were fish hawkers if this helps.

I think you need to purchase the Ongley/Rogers marriage certificate to find out the father of Thomas.........providing of course that he knew who his father was.

As you can see from the marriage details that Margee posted, it states his father is Richard Payne!!

Perhaps someone can come up with an idea as to the connection between Thomas Ongley and Richard Payne???
