I think this could be my missing link? But cannot find her parents? Names unknown.
Charlotte Rice Married Walter J Bryan 1929
died 1933 Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Know she had 3 children, Mary E, Nellie, John. John died when he was 19 in 1934. Nellie was born in 1926, Mary E born in 1922. Yet ALL 3 have diffrent maiden names on the birth registrations? Going round in circles. She only had 3 children and the other Charlotte i have found is a Married Charlotte Rice, Alfred Rice and 2 children Hilda & Lottie which clearly cannot be her??? Any help appreciated ;-)

Am i reading this wrong married 1929 .Son John died 5yrs later age 19 ?Was it a second marriage.

Are you sure her maiden name was Rice? Do you have the marriage cert?

Presumably Rice is name from a previous marriage (or no marriage!)

Her eldest child John died in 1934 age 19. Am not aware of possible earlier marriages but she may of ? Her second child Mary E, mothers maiden name is correct yet for her definate other children i have a Walsh and a possible Andrews/Page. I have tried finding out more information but to no avail

It seams that a mass order of certs is needed to get to the bottom of this one? Seams she MUST of been married at least once, therefore it brings her maiden name suspicious?

The information i have which is backed up with certs is Mary E Rice born 1922, Chesterfield Derbyshire. She had a older brother who died a year or so after his mother, There is a John A Rice died 1934 aged 19. Youngest sister Nellie (Full forename) born 1926 All in Chesterfield. Now for Nellie i have a mothers maiden name of Walsh?? And for John A Rice a miden name of Page in 1914, and a Andrews in 1917?? Very muddling and then Charlottes own marrige in 1929 to Walter J Byan and death in 1933?

Was it a first marriage for Walter ,and what age was he.
