Have you tried putting names under Search Trees at the top of the page, to see if anyone on here has them in their tree?

If you need help with a specific problem, post all the details here and somebody will help.

Please give as much info as you can: where and when born, spouses and childrens' names, etc; any certs you have and any census info.

Unfortunately Emma this is still not enough to enable anyone to help you.

As Potty says you need to give specific names, not just surnames. Start with what you know for sure, maybe your grandparent's names and the years and places they were born, great grandparents would be even better.

Emma

If you wish to have help, you will have to provide names, dates, and locations.

Nobody on here can guess who you are looking for.

You have to help us to help you...........................

How have you got back to 1834? Which records have you accessed?

Hi Emma

the best place to start is with your parents then do one side at a time. ie father, grandparents g grandparents etc

if you go off in other directions too soon it will all become confusing.

You can start inputting to your own tree on this site which will enable you check back on the family you have found.

plenty of good sites with free info online and once you start concentrating on one particular part of the family you will find it much easier and if you get stuck with a certain person people on here are willing to help, but can't help if you dont know what help you need if that make sense

sites to use to check marriages births deaths etc (you will need to buy certificates to confirm these though)

freebmd
familysearch.org have lots of records which are free to search too and some census returns

Emma, there are many people here more than willing to help you but we need a name as a starting point. I don't understand your reluctance to even give us one name. You did ask for help, help us to help you.

Have you tried looking on freebmd for the births of these people?

Flick Report 15 Jan 2012 21:46

Is the name HUTT.......or HUNT?

You have given both surnames.................

Flick

Flick Report 15 Jan 2012 21:50

Do you know when these people died?

If we can find their deaths, we can get an idea of when they were born

Flick

Flick Report 15 Jan 2012 21:54

I think you are trying to do too much, too soon.

You should concentrate on one line at a time........especially as you are new to this, and unfamiliar with how to search.
