Likely that she married - either, John Thomas Atkins OR Harry White.( Its my belief that she married a Harry White - but no actual evidence of that as yet).
I cant find any Atkins / Kilby or any White / Kilby births at all...

I can't find her at the moment but there is this family that could be a possible except that the wife's first name is given as Florence and not Emma but correct middle name:-

I believe that you have found Emma in 1911 married to John Thomas Atkins - calling herself Florence ( for some reason )
as,

Do we think that possibly Emma died & Thomas re-married or that Emma & THomas split up and they both re-married ?

I have looked on Free BMD for a marriage for John Thomas Atkins after 1906-1920, but cant find one (?)
although there is a marriage before 1906....

the question is - IS Emma Gertrude Kilby who married John Tomas Atkins is 1906 the same as Florence Gertrude Atkins who is married to a John Thmas Atkins in the 1911 census?

I think that the 1911 census is a 'red-herring' and NOT the correct Emma Gertrude Kilby - ( Floirence & Emma are not one & the same person )

You could rule out the John Thomas married to Florence on the 1911 as being the same one as married in 1900 because of his age.
