Well I think Vera put up the right John on the first 1901 census married to Sarah.

Occupation is right on that one.

So are we looking for a John Glynn who married a Sarah or what.

Has Kath got the right marriage cert????

The John we are looking for married a Jane Elizabeth Jeff....have found a family in 1911 father John D Glynn mother Jane E Glynn.....but still not sure if this is the right one.

If you have this marriage cert of John and Jane Elizabeth what are thier fathers names and occupations on it please?

Is it possible the family I found in 1911 is the correct one........have you got John and Janes marriage certificate....to find Johns occupation.

I am trying to help a friend who has only just stared researching JANE ELIZABETH JEFF B1875 is my ancestor and she and JOHN DAVID GLYNN was this friends grandparents.

Perhaps someone could look for JANE ELIZABETH JEFF b1875 in the 1901 census as she married in the sept quarter in wolverhampton.
her parents were GEORGE JEFF B1845 and ELIZABETH MERRY B1848
siblins MARY 1872,ELLEN 1873,then jane 1875 GEORGE 1877,ESTHER B1879 JAMES 1882 and ANNIE 1898 all born worcester

The gentleman I am trying to help knows very little
He says his father was JAMES FRANCIS GLYNN B1911 and he believes that he had a brother alfred and Jack and a sister Kitty which I thought could be Catherine.

I do believe that JAMES FRANCIS GLYNN married a GERTRUDE NEVILLE

I am going to speak with David and try to iron out a few issues but I get the impression he knows very little about his fathers family.

Thank you vera.
I have sent an email to David who asked me to help him and i am awaiting his reply.
At first I thought that he had the marriage certificate of his grandparents john glynn and Jane jeff but now I am not sure
I will put the above names to him and see if they ring any bells with him.

I have asked him what else he knows and I think that we all need more facts to go any further.
It is possible of course that JOHN GLYNN B1872 married twice but without a marriage certificate it would be difficult to find this ut
