Hi
I am looking for the baptism & parents of Arthur Upton Vinell c. 1879 in London (exact location not known ) .
Arthur later married Ethel Mary Fryman in 1907 in Tonbridge district, the detail are not known..
They adopted at least one daughter Nancy & I believe they emigrated in 1912 to USA.
Ancestry indicates this to be the case but I have no access to the international records to confirm any of this.

Looks like the Arthur born Oxford in the above 1881 census so not Arthur Upton Vinell

I think you will find I have already pointed that out Chris plus the name is spelt Vinnell and not Vinell

So You will need to purchase the birth cert to find out who the parents were George, maybe he grew up with a stepfathers name or it is badly mistranscribed somewhere

It does say she was single on the 1901 so maybe Arthur made up a father??

Thank you for everyone's help, It doesn't look like any adopted children went with them to the USA or Canada.I'll look for Nancy's death.
Like Jax I can't use parts of Ancestry, thank you Lesley. Did you happen to come across Ethel Mary's death or Arthur's second marriage which must have been after 1930, I couldn't find any referrence to these events.
