Hi can anyone help im looking for info on Jeramiah connors possibly born about 1871 and wife Elizabeth Moorehouse they lived at shannon hill enniscorty Wexford Ireland i cant find any birth marriage and deaths for them all help is most wellcome

can anyone see elizabeth moorehouse and a marriage ive looked for that and hit a brick wall where did she come from i know from 1911 cencus they had six children i think 2 or 3 were at home at that time .

If you check out the 1901/1911 Irish Census you will find the Moorehouse' and Connors families living Shannon Hill...next to Jer.is bro John and family and Chris Moorhouse..relative (lodger) up the st.are Moorhouse families

Looking at those census records would mean that they were born 1861c so they couldnt have married in 1874

You did say in your opening post that he was born about 1871 so I posted the possible birth record...not sure if youve seen it as you havent commented?

You need to work out the dates and it might help to know how you have got to the couple?

How could they have married in 1874 if they were born in 1861....it would have made them 13 years old when they married

hi i think because they could not read x write they could be a few years out i do know it was not uncommon to marrey very young the son michael is my grandfather and i only found out recently that his mother was elizabeth moorehouse through my mother

I agree Ginny. I think Blondedays needs to tell us how she got back to them. Otherwise it could be another worthless ficticious tree in the making.

It just doesn't work by taking facts and making them fit!

hi i found out about them on my grandfathers world war 1 record it said he lived at shannon hill but only through the cencus the same people and him is on it but i dont know if thease births and dates are right
