Not with Charles and Ellen Clarke in 1911

Emma married in 1918 in Doncaster.

Waiting for marriage cert to see if she names her father.
Was hoping she was with parents in census. Apparently not.

Just thought I would show you this Emma.....although I understand she married under the maiden name Herbert in 1918. The birth place got my attention. I found a marriage for an Ida Clarke to a John Whittaker.

She could have been living anywhere in 1911

The Emma and John Whittaker on the 1911are not correct....I found a marriage for them at least I think it is them her maiden name is Hanson.

She lived all her life in and around Doncaster

Yes I am hoping that is the right birth cert ( it's on my short list)
I am just cautious because she may have been born to single mum who later married a Herbert and changed Emma's name.

Then again she may have been born Herbert to unmarried mother who later married

for instance...
