This is looking promising.

I have a William Henry baptised in Kidderminster in 1871, child of George and Mary Ann
Rather a distant link, - they are descendants of my 4 x great grandfather, so there is a bloodlink, so I'll contact the person who has recently added them to their tree on here.

I'll look again for the family in 1891 now.

I wondered if Alfred Thomas Phillips died (quickly) and she married again before 1901. Or she died and is mis-transcribed.
If that initial marriage in 1896 is correct then she could be living anywhere in the country. Is it worth getting the certificate - just to rule them out if necessary?

I too wondered if he died early.

First I might try looking for any Kidderminster-born Lavinias of the right age in 1911 and see if I can work out any marriages for any found there.
I don't have full access, but should be able to search names OK.
