Could someone please help me find a possible marriage for James Wood, the 1881 census has him living with his parents Thomas & Julia Wood living at 106 Russell Street, Sheppey Kent. The family moved to Kent from Poplar London between 1877 and 1879. On the 1911 census I have found him living with his wife "Rose" and son James at 12 West Street Gillingham. On the 1901 census James is a "Stoker" in the Navy and onboard a ship "Terpsichore" that is in Chatham, his wife and son are living at 50 Russell Street but she is listed as "Frances R" and so far I have not been able to find a marriage. On the 1911 census it has that have been married for 16 years.
Any help would be appricated.
Thank you.

Rosina Holmes had been married before when you look at 1891 census but no Frances at home

So she could be Rosina Wooding and not Frances Holmes :-S

From what I have been told Rose died quite young and my gt grandfather was killed in france in 1918 and James helped my gt grandmother (his younger sister Emma) bring-up her 2 children in West street Gillingham. Hope that makes sense.
