Find Ancestors

Ive done quite a bit on other parts of my tree but keep going back to the same loose end.
Caroline Henderson - showing in a family bible as having died 14/4/1881 and buried 25/4/1881 in Ilford. last address prior to death - 32 Gun St southwark no idea why buried that far away - assume family connection. im also assuming she wasnt really married to john henderson but then how do i trace her death - can i do it by first name and date.

Any advice/help appreciated

p.s I live in Worcester - my ancestors Londoners

The address cant be a coincidence?

I cant see a death using the details that you post. Do youhave any other info that might help?

John is married on the 1881 census that I posted and his wife is not there. Wonder if she is ill and its her that died not the little girl

Hi - dont have her date or birth unfortunately and there is a family which almost mirrors mine. My Caroline Henderson had my Gt Grandmother also Caroline - definite date of birth 27.4.1872 she also had Martha 20/12/1873 and Emma 5/11/1876, Caroline had a child in 1881 and died 2 months later.
Im just checking the 1881 census addess again to make sure I think mine lived in Gun street and the other Fort passage - from memory.

So the first census I posted is your family as the children all tie in

There is no death listed for the mother Caroline?

Yes the one with John head, caroline, martha, emma as daughters - these are his and carolines daughters - the older girls Elizabeth and Annie we understand are from another marriage - It was Kell street

having a bad day - Gun street was correct - I knew Id seen Kell st somewhere it was where john was born

Because i cant trace her death at all I think that they didnt get around to getting married - Is it going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack i \i dont know Carolines real surname - can i really look for all deaths where a caroline died on that date. she most def. died on that date and year as caroline her daughter kept the bible and made the entries. what Carolines dad John chose or forgot to say is that they hadnt married

Thank you for your efforts - much appreciated. They didnt live in Ilford - they lived in the Southwark area - presume that the death is registered where they are buried - usually the same but in this case different areas ??
And how on earth did you manage to find those - i obv dont know my way around.
If the death is registered where a person is buried i would narrow it down to the 38 or 45 year old - will need to get certs and see whether there are any clues.
