EDIT Him again !
Charles Matthew Siggs 1808 - 1855 born and bap' Aveley, Essex.

Son of James (Whiffing) Siggs and Mary Ann Siggs (nee Whiffing)

Lived with Margaret Ohren in Chelsea and had children, births spanning 1839 to 1854, no record of marriage.

There is on record a marriage dated 3rd November 1829 of a Charles Matthew Siggs to an Elizabeth Ann Reed at St. Martin in the Fields, Middlesex.

I've been at this a long time, how can I prove (or disprove) that it is the same person? Any ideas, please !!

On the original of the '61 his age is not very easy to read. He should be 15.

There are a couple of trees on Ancestry with him on. Some have his father as Matthew Siggs. I think he was Charles Matthew Siggs.

Whiffing are you directly related to Fredrick.
