Do you know Betty;s birth date or even the year, as she would have died after 1991 then her birth date ,as known by the informant ,would show on the GRO ref .

up to 1958 they are on the electoral roll at 15 Scovall Road Southwark

Betty Jean Wills d July 1992 Plymouth Devon DoB 4.8.1929 - 21 1509 792 - a bit early for a Dec Qtr birth Registration, but not impossible. And a bit of a distance from their usual stomping grounds. This is the only one showing up to 2006.
Has she definitely died?

Could have gone to family or friends or taken a break following hubbies death

not sure if she has died? as u say along way from home. i have date of birth aug 1929? would this be the same qtr?

A birth in Aug would most likely be reg in Sept as you have 6 weeks to reg a birth so would be under the Sept qtr . HOWEVER if the birth was late Aug its possible not to reg the birth till the last minute so could well have been reg in early Oct which would then be the Dec qtr .

That Plymouth death tho gives the birth date as 4th aug 1929 so it should have been reg before end Sept 1929.

Maybe she died after 2006 and that record wont be online

hi have found betty j bates mothers name on bettys birth records with the name of Feben would this help to trace any records of betty? death etc

If Betty died 1970-2006, birth date will be on the online death index, provided the informant knew it, so might be worth getting birth cert maybe:

No her mums name wont help ti find Betty;s death .Born 1929 tho she could still be alive . My OH is only 4 years younger and he is still kicking.!!

looks like there may be one son born in 1961. are you aware if they did have children?

Shirley's right of course - my mother was born 1927 and is still very much with us! But worth getting every bit of info you can I think.
