Well what a response from everybody!!

Thanks so much.

I wonder if I can maybe relate the names to another member of the family ... mother, father , grand father etc

And scarily .... Charlotte Denchfield, my great grandmother, her nickname was Gin !!

Gins, Yes i have been doing what i do best, DRINKING but the death of Salome in 1904 cannot be the same person on the 1901 because the death was registered the same quarter as the birth and is listed as 0 years old

Births Mar 1904

Denchfield Salome Leighton B. 3b 375
Deaths Mar 1904

DENCHFIELD Salome 0 Leighton B. 3b 2

Roy

Edited Reggie, i see what you meen about they lied about the elder girl but she was crossed out and they never lied about how long they had been married

Squeaky, my choice would still be the 1904 death for Salome but try and make a connection between Seth and the Goerge Denchfield who was married to Salome listed in the 1901 first

Wow , Roy I just worked out...

George Denchfield who married Salome Rogers was Seth's younger Brother.

So Salome was Seth's sister in law.

So the name connection is there I guess.?!
