Good evening one of the people I am following seems to have gone to the USA and I have found some images on Ancestry but I don't have a world subscription. I imagine they are going to answer some interesting questions

Selina was 35, from the same address but travelled in a different part of the ship.

With George, on the same ticket was Joseph Barton aged 21 - also from the same address - 30 Lindley St., Colyhurst, Manchester.

I just saw that one and that he was baptised on 08 May 1901
at St Phillip, Salford, Lancashire, England

Interesting that on the 1940 there was an Allen Barton in the household - the same surname as Joseph who travelled over with George??

There is no occupation listed, he seems to be alone. The town he had lived in looks like "Smiley", "no relatives" is written in the column of person to visit.

The word "DEBARRED" is stamped next to his name so it looks like he was refused entry.
