My grand aunt has asked me to see if I can find anything out about her husband Walter Alexander Wellum Seadon. It seems to be quite a complicated case. He was born with the above name in Windsor Reg District in 1914. His mothers maiden name is Wellum. |

Thank you so much for this - I searched all last night and couldn't find anything - I'm so pleased! I was going to stop until got the certificate from my great aunt but you have come up trumps! You mentioned the Barnado's file - how do we go about getting that? |

On the 1911, William born 1906 would possibly be the brother Bill. |

I can see that on the site I was looking for, there is an error in the transcript - says Leadon instead of Seadon! |

There is quite a gap between the last child born in Essex and Walter in 1914. They are all registered as Seadon though so I would presume it were the same father although it's always best to check! |

Is it a coincidence that this death is in the West Midlands where that marriage for Elsie Seadon was? |

Interesting Shirley and MarieCeleste, the man below cancelled the allowance to his wife in 1919. Alas it doesn't give any name or details for wife and children. |

Could be. I know that Walter's sisters lived further up the country. Hilda lived in Birmingham and got married there and Elsie May in Smethwick. I don't know where William lived but that death does correspond with his birth year in Essex so much be him. |
