Maybe Mel - Could have been a STD which he passed on - quite rife at the time (there was a war on after all and many of them came back home with such things). |

Thaks Sue and yes we know that. It is really just George we can't find. I suppose he could have been travelling at the time of the census?? and just been missed off. |
