I am really well & truly stuck. Please can anyone help..

Betty Green b1925 (my Aunt) Upton Rotherham Yorkshire. It is her parents that have me stuck.....

Her parents I have been told are Edwin Green b1883c Rotherham and Jane Elizabeth Poskitt b1881c However on other trees here on Genes Jane E Poskitt is listed as Jane E Poskitt Lambley. I wondered if she had married or perhaps her mother had.

I know I'm rambling a bit but its because the only concrete info is my Aunt Betty Green

Can anyone sort me out please so i can go back in this branch of my tree

There doesn't seem to be a marriage that fits the names you have. A copy of the birth cert is the only way to find out.

No I haven't got Auntie Bets birth cert as yet. I'm pretty sure her parents are as above Edwin Green & Jane Poskitt though I can't find a marriage record of them. I have asked family so many questions but none know the answer as to why Jane Poskitt became Jane Poskitt Lambley. I'm hoping all you experts here in the community can help me sort it out.

Still confused with the Lambley bit..Jane married Geo Charlesworth in 1900 he died 1917 (ok Got that) then 1920 Jane marries Edwin Green (Got that too) Aunt Bets mother listed as Poskitt not Charlesworth and no sign of Lambley...
