Hi Maureen,
Probably not as hot here as down there but still too hot for me. High 20's during the day but cooling down at night to about 20.
Good to see you back on site, Maureen, after your little break.

Ahh yes. Thank you Margee.
It's strange there is no mention of Sarah, Mary or Margaret in the 1861 census.
|
I have a feeling Margaret may have died as a child.
This might be Mary: 1861 census transcription details for: 2, Marine Row, Holy Trinity, Hull

I don't see Sarah. Did the site that you found mention a marriage for her?
Maureen
Margee-Thank you-you knew I couldn't stay away too long!!!

They certainly did have a lot of children, this is what is making it so confusing.
What is unbelievable, is that yesterday at this time I had absolutely no information on this family and could not understand their connection to Hull. Thanks to everyone's help I now know how my G Grandmother came to be in Hull and also where her parents lived for a time; Railway Cottages, Willerby. Before these cottages were demolished they were situated around a four minute walk from my house! Amazing!!
|
No unfortunately it only mentioned the details I posted on Sarah.
|
That IS amazing!!!
Let's just keep our fingers crossed that we DO have the correct family for your Hannah.
I think this is Sarah:
