My grandmother's sister, Winnie, immigrated to Canada before WWII. I don't know her married name or the exact date but she went to Quebec and had at least 5 children: Violet, Douglas, Pearl, Ruby and Percy. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I would appreciate help in tracing my Canadian relatives. Thank you. |

The OP says that she doesn't know the married name......so Child must be the maiden name |

Yes of course, I was reading it as though Winnie was a child who went to Canada. |

Yes, Child was her maiden name. Her full name was probably Winifred and her date of birth was probably 1891. I don't have her married name or the date she came to Canada. Thanks for all the helpful advice. |

Born 1891 but came to Canada before WW2? How long before WW2? Surely then her children were all born in UK? She would have been 48 at the onset of WW2. |
