Glad we seem to have hit on the right family. |

Thank you all for all the useful information. You have hit on the right family. My grandmother was Lottie Child. My mother wrote down my grandmother's recollections and owned a photo of Winnie's family but neither my mother or grandmother could remember her married name. The photo is the source of the children's names. I don't have it but my sister is checking to see if she has it. I think you have the right Winnie who sailed on the Lake Manitoba to Quebec. I am really happy to have a possible name for her husband. Now I can check for her marriage records. Thanks again. |

Born 1891 but came to Canada before WW2? How long before WW2? Surely then her children were all born in UK? She would have been 48 at the onset of WW2. |

Who was her sister? |
|||
|
SheilaP | Report | 14 Aug 2013 01:41 |
Yes, Child was her maiden name. Her full name was probably Winifred and her date of birth was probably 1891. I don't have her married name or the date she came to Canada. Thanks for all the helpful advice. |
