Can anyone trace this relative?

He was born 22/10/1895 in Larkhall, Scotland.

His parents were Alexander Thomson and Elizabeth Pettigrew Watson

I think he emigrated to Canada in 1919 arriving 11/12/1919 in St. John's but as its only listed as Scotland on the passenger list, i'm not sure. I don't know if he married

States he's a salesman by trade, it also states a name John Reid, does the name mean anything to you?

John Reid doesn't mean anything to me

There's a member's tree on Ancestry which says he arrived in the US in 1921; in 1923 lived in Lowell, Massachusetts; still lived in Lowell in 1930 & 1940.

BUT
it doesn't have his birth record, so I think they've assumed a lot, and got the wrong person .
"Proof" is taken to be US census records 1930 & 1940, which only give Scotland as POB, and don't give him a middle initial. Take with large pinch of salt!

I knew of his mother's death, and his fathers, I knew about the 1901 and 1911 census, but other than that, I'm running blind

Are Canadian records available after he returned to Canada in 1922? I haven't found his death in Scotland so he may have died in Canada

She was the daughter of William Watson, what name do you have for the mother?

As a rule, I dont research siblings of anyone who married into my family but looking at William on census returns, his wife was called Jane/Jeannie.
His age, place of birth and names of his children, suggests he is Rachel Watson's brother?
