i am stuck trying to find Arthur smith palmer b 1833 .
he had a daughter called edith palmer b 1901st olave london ,,,, her mothers name was ada ?b 1873

any help please as this is for a close freind who knows next to nothing of his family history , Thanking you in advance xx

Surely he didn't father a child at that age - with woman 40 years his junior?

His father named as James Smith Palmer - occupation of carpenter

One witness was Alice Palmer

that is the marrage i came up with, and when i looked on the census things didnt make sence to me that is why i have asked for help as everything i have found had got so confusing i dont know where i am with any of it ,,,,
edith palmer is his daughter

He was born in 1866, REGGIE that was my mistake in typing it ,,, i am sorry about that,,,, but can you find him in the 1911 census?

when i looked him up in the sevice he came up as being on tenedos and his middle name as stanley
so i am confused

He was obviously at sea in 1911.............he was a Mariner

He is on electoral register until 1908 in Bermondsey

Did they go to America ? There is a US draft card for WW1 in that name
