Why do you think his marriage to Elizabeth is his second marriage? Because his is 42 and she is 43? odd indeed.... but it's states he is a bachelor and Elizabeth a spinster. Are you or anyone able to advise on this???
:-D

Perhaps I've lost the plot!, was following above Charles...
Have you got address from Marriage Cert., or his Death Cert.?
(or know where he is 1911)

Have been checking out my documents... Reg Walker (My Grandfather) birth cert says Father Charles Alfred Walker & Mother Elizabeth A Walker formerly Lambourne 10/4/1909 so that matches but the stange thing is that Charles married Elizabeth on 2/2/1916
They had most of their children before they actually got married!!! Naughty
Noted that Constance Mabel (First Child) was born in Walsall but their second child was born in London, so it could be that their family was not best pleased about them having a baby and they decided to move away and just never got around to getting married.
They married on 2/2/1916 and had a baby July 1916 ish
I wonder why at this point they decided to actually get married, had the law changed with registering births??
:-S

Thank you Chris. I have the details for the Lambourne's already as shown above, have found it fairly easy to find them as they move from Wiltshire to Walsall where daughter Elizabeth seems to meet Charles.....
Can you help with establishing Emma's early years? Who her parents are? Where she came from? If that is actually her in the workhouse in 1861 in Walsall? Why she is there alone?
Many thanks for all your help so far :-D
