Find Ancestors

Hello GR,
I am having a problem to find my first- grandma Nellie Stevens - nee Cooper, to find her death certificate and wondered if you might be able to help?
For info - my grandfather Alfred Thomas Stevens, who married Nellie Cooper, but up until now, I wasn't sure and the inscription on her - sadly sinking in the marshes - but all I can ask if we could find them.?
They lived in Terrington but my Grandad possibly lived in this area and I would love to find a death certificate for her.

Perhaps you need a copy of the marriage certificate to get an idea of a year of birth for Nellie. Her death may have been registered under a different iven name if Nellie was a pet name?

Is Terrington in Yorkshire please?

Nellie died 1933 Clenchwarton or Spalding Lincolnshire.

Terrington is Terrington st Clement and i also have the certificates for our family
Nellie died 1933 Clenchwarton.
Nellie died in 1933 , but is it in Spalding or Clenchwarton....
All I need is to find a death certificate, if possible

hi again,
my grandma was called Nellie - nothing else !
She managed to take on helping my grandad on the farm, with animals, etc. due to the some sort of virus and both of the children and Grandad also succumbed to it and kept up on the farm for them.
I have been told that Nellie was so exhausted she dropped in the fireplace , but I can't for certain that and I would really appreciate it if you could find the information for the death certificate

I fail to see how Alfred Thomas Stevens could have been born 5/3/1796 yet his wife died in 1933,

Could you please check all the info you are posting.........some of the dates don't make sense.

How can Nellie be your 'first' Grandma?

She may have been your grandfather's first wife, but, unless she gave birth to one of your parents, she was not your grandma

If one of her children was your parent, then she WAS your grandma, and your grandfather's second wife was your step-gran

If you obtained a copy of the marriage cert, you'd know roughly when she was born
