I am trying to trace any information on Sarah Roe born 1877 in Leicester, daughter of Thomas Roe 1844-1913 and Ellen Sophia Bakewell, sister to Susannah Rowe 1878-1962, Lily Bertha Rowe 1888 -c1969, Herbert Rowe c1891 -?

Still at the same address as in 1901. 8 children had been born alive, 4 of those had died.

I didn't realise 8 children had been born alive but I'm not good at this researching, my grandma was Susannah Rowe, Aunt Lil married but had no children, I can find no marriage or death of Sarah, I only knew Aunt Lil and my grandma. So is the photo of Sarah?

I've just searched the census records on FMP, I've also had a look on public trees on Ancestry to see if anyone has Sarah in their tree but no one appears to have. I'll try some of her siblings see if they are in someones tree.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I don't know for sure but wondered if she moved to Lincoln as I remember visiting 'relatives'? there but as a child you didn't ask questions, you just went.. but my Grandma went to Lincoln because my Dad was born in Lincoln Hospital.. I feel the people we visited may have been my Dads' cousins, a brother and sister who lived together so I presume had not married, I think he was a headmaster, and she was a teacher, they had a big house in a 'dead end' near a big park, he was in bed, I believe dying of cancer, that's all I remember.

That has to be her because it says Cyril was a schoolmaster, too coincidental not to be. I think I need lessons on research! ;-)

How do I find out about the 4 children who died? ie sex and year of births.

Well if you now remember there was a Cyril who was a schoolmaster at least you now know who she married (getting the marriage certificate will confirm it one way or the other) and you have a date of death.
