Searching for information on Thomas NEILAN born September 1865. in Liverpool, Father James Neilan. Thomas married Julia MARR Septimber 1891 also in Liverpool. Rest of his immediate family had emigrated to New York USA in 1888. Have traced all his siblings but can find no record of Thomas or Julia in census records after 1891 or emigration records. May have died en-route to USA. aboard ship. Any help with this brick wall would be appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who responded. Unfortunately I made a mistake with the name it was Julia not Catherine and the marriage took place in Holy Cross Liverpool.. It is after that that the couple appear to vanish. Unless she died and he travelled alone to join his family. I was confused because this Thomas sailed for Philadelphia not New York. Did Julia appear in any of the subsequent census in Liverpool.

Do you know how old Julia was when she married, so that we can try to look for her

In case you don't know, for some reason of which I am not aware, Bernard and Brian are interchangeable in the Irish community.
