He was born in 1877 in St Pancras to Edward Tredgold and Elizabeth Hebb.
In 1891 he was living in Birmingham with his father and stepmother.
In 1895 he joined the Royal Dragoons and served in theBoer War between 1899 and 1902.

I see that he was finally discharged from the Reserve in 1907

He was in the Army Reserve from 1/11/1902 to 21/3/1907

I cant find his birth or 1911 census so was he born abroad??

In 1933 he is arriving from Japan, states he is 23 and address 58,Holly Street West Smethwick Birmingham he is a mercantile assistant.

Could he be your Edwards son??
