Please can anyone find a Marriage record or a death record for Richard METCALFE aka Richard IVESON.

Timeline:

1. Richard was born Richard METCALFE: Born 23 Nov 1887 in HARDRAW, Son of Agnes METCALFE, Agnes's sister Rose IVESON signed his Birth Certificate.

2. In the 1891 census, Richard is under the surname METCALFE with his Mother Agnes, Younger Brother Frederick, Auntie Rose and Rose's husband Henry IVESON.

3. In the 1901 census, Richard is now under the surname IVESON with now showing Henry and Rose as his parents.

4. In the 1911 census, Richard is still down as Richard IVESON with Henry and Rose living at the Green Dragon Inn, Hardraw.

5. On the 28 Feb 1914, Henry Iveson died, still living at the Green Dragon Inn.

6. On the 19 Oct 1915, Rose Iveson re-married to a guy called Richard Metcalfe.

7. On the 30 Mar 1917, Rose died at her sister Agnes's house 8 Myers Street Burnley Lancashire.

After that there's no trail of Richard what so ever.

Please can anyone help find anymore records of him?

Can you find the Richard I'm asking for, the one born 1887

Mary - Would there be any other information regarding that death record?

I don't think the Richard in the 1915 marriage is the one b1887 - the age is way out - he would have only been 28 and Rose should be in her late 50s. She is showing as 53 on the 1911.

On the marriage cert, Richard is shown as a widower - have you looked for an earlier marriage for him?

No other info unless you send for it.

Many trees have the same info on him dying 1927.
Strange on 1911 census Henry has no children but Rose has 1??
Although I have seen Richards birth cert and it has mum as Agnes.

Mary - it says on the 1911 census under children "state for each married woman" so it would say rose had one because that's what the state asked them to fill in

This looks more like the Richard who married Rosana in 1915:

Potty - the Richard Metcalfe you're talking about was living in Earby near Colne with his first wife and his daughter Alice

UPDATE

I recieved the will of Rosanna Metcalfe and I have found out Richard METCALFE was living at 16 STANWORTH STREET BURNLEY LANCASHIRE, when I contacted the Library for the electoral rolls from that time and they told me Richard was living with a woman called ANNIE METCALFE from 1917 to 1921 at that house and his profession was a CARTER, there was no Ow next to Annie's name so I don't know whether she was his Wife or not.... I have looked through the Marriages and I can't find a Richard Metcalfe getting Married to a Annie between 1911 to 1920.

Maybe they did get Married and they got Married in Gretna Green, he was a carter so he could have traveled up there?

Potty - no you're wrong... the Richard Metcalfe in her will is her nephew, Rosanna seperated from her husband...

The executor of the will is her Nephew Richard Metcalfe.

The will reads:

"Be it known that Rosanna Metcalfe of 8 Myers Street Burnley in the county of Lancaster..... died on the 30th March 1917 at 8 Myers Street...... representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid court to Richard Metcalfe of 16 Stanworth Street Burnley aforesaid Carter nephew of deceased the sole executor"

Looks like I misread the Probate record - it does say her husband was Richard Mercalfe and that probate was granted to Richard Metcalfe, but doen't give that Richard's relationship - sorry!
