If there was no father's name entered on the marriage certificate the most likely reason is that he was illegitimate, in which case there is very little chance of finding out who he was unless he is named on a baptism record - though this is unlikely.

I think the census that Rose found is more likely to be the one. He is still with the Beardsleys in 1891 but is shown as grandson rather than nephew.

If you look for a birth reg for Jeremiah Woodman there does not appear to be one but there is one in 1857 for a Jeremiah Woodward so maybe the Woodman children have been mistranscribed and should be Woodward

so: Possibly Emma Rawson had William Rawson before her marriage to George Woodawrd . This would make William Rawson the Step Grandson of Sarah and William Beardsley
