I have posted about this family before in the community but I only got to find out where they landed in Canada. I now was hoping someone out there with access to Canadian & US records can help find spouses and descendants so I can trace the family to present day.

I am seeking descendants of the Johnson family who emigrated to Canada. Father: Albert Johnson b.1879 Pool-in-Wharfedale, Yorkshire. Mother: Mary-Ann Hatfield b.1876 Old Malton, Yorkshire
Albert travelled to Quebec, Canada, May 1911 on ship 'Southwark' with son Robert Johnson (b.1906) age 6.
Mary Ann, Carrie (b.1907) and William (b.1910) followed on ship to Halifax Nova Scotia in April 1912
Albert was a Canadian soldier of WW1. Twins Albert and Alfred Johnson b.1913 Halton, Ontario, Canada. Both died in infancy 1913.
Son Alfred b.1915 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
That's all the information I have.
Mary Ann Johnson died 1935. She died of carcinoma of Kidney, metastasis to lungs.
Son Afred (b 1915 Ontario) possibly appears on United States Border Crossings from Canada to United States. Manifest of Alien Arrivals at Niagara Falls, New York 18 July 1938. After that blank - no marriages found or children thereafter. Can anyone take it from there please? Thanks if you helped me before. I am very grateful to my GR friends.

Thanks again MarieCeleste. Thanks ArgyllGran - the link you have to previous post is the correct one. It's looking like the entire family disappears! Surely records exist somewhere. I know mis-spelling of names on official records don't help and Johnson is a common name but I can't find anything else. :-(

Thanks ArgyllGran. It's promising. I could look for a marriage to Mary.

Unfortunately, the names are so common that without some corroborating info such as father's name, there's no way of knowing if he's your Robert or not.

That's brilliant ArgyllGran! I also found through Google an obituary for Donald (Ronald and Carrie's son) on a website:

http://www.obitsforlife.com/obituary/458962/McKenna-Donald.php

The obituary mentions a lot of the family but I am finding it totally confusing regarding his siblings - if you read it you'll see what I mean.

Thanks again.
