Right names, but wrong ages - I'll post this anyway, just in case!

EDIT:
Yes, in light of JoonieCloonie's post below, they seem to be son William, his wife Mary and their children, plus his sisters Susan and Sarah. Not sure about E A Jeffery (male).

All travelling together in 1852:

Wm Jeffery, 31
Mary Jeffery, 29
Fanny Jeffery, 6
George Jeffery, 4
Jane Jeffery, 2
Sarah Jeffery, 26
Susan Jeffery, 22
E A Jeffery, 20

That's on the image for this record:

naming also children John and William and Elizabeth Greengo

the info given for William states:

Birth: May 23, 1794 Biddenden Kent, England
Death: Jun. 20, 1877 Waukesha County Wisconsin, USA
William was born in Biddenden, Kent County, England.
He immigrated with his sons, John and George on board the "Mediater" arriving in New York on 26 April 1842 from England. His wife and other children followed later.

there is no indication of the relationship to the person who manages the memorial but presumably that info was provided by a family member

Daughter Mary Ann, who married Roland Hills Pearson in Wisconsin in 1852, must have travelled earlier.

Roland Hills Pearson was also born in Kent, and he emigrated in 1850, according to 1900 census:

Hills Pearson

Smarden is very close to Biddenden, so chances are they knew each other before emigrating.

the messages on her page show that she is the person who submitted all the info I quoted above about WILLIAM JEFFERY 1920 so she would seem to be a family member

it is free to join that site and she can be contacted through there (and actually her email address is posted on that profile)

All the US censuses thru 1940 are available via:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=UNITED_STATES

There are free image links for 1850/70/1900/40.
1890 was completely destroyed for WI
Nominal census day was 1/6/1830-1900,15/4/1910,1/1/1920, 1/4/1930-40

There are also free state census images, but this census only names the head of h/h. and the # of each sex in h/h. (I've not checked all years)

Lisbon is 8m WSW of Menomonee Falls which is 20m NW of Milwaukee WI

It wasn't unusual for the hubby (or maybe an adult son) to go out first & get stuff like jobs, accomodation, etc sorted, and then for wife & kids to join him later This was the case for my dad, & ma-i-l - both had a cousin come out first, and the uncle followed later.

greyghost Report 14 Sep 2015 11:30

mgnv's 1841 census in Kent shows William Jeffery aged 45 and John Jeffery aged 20 both as Agricultural Labourers.

There is nothing to distinguish the names given as other than in the same household. But it's not an Institution, just several pages of "ditto" under the heading of "Town" as opposed to cottages that came before and the schoolhouse after.

The Davis' and William Millstead are the last 3 entries on a previous page which is very dark, has various ticks and crosses and therefore difficult to read occupations.
